Send-Off Party
Greetings Dearest Friends and Family!
Nicole and I, along with our gracious hosts Courtney and Heather, are very much looking forward to the send-off party on Saturday (from 2-5pm)! I’m writing to let you know that the location for the party has changed:
- Please note: The location of the send off party is now going to be at the newly built Big Ben’s Pub, located in Atherton Mill on the corner of South Blvd and Tremont St, in Charlotte.

We decided to change the location due to various factors including concerns about weather/heat, more parking, and added value to our guests. Big Ben’s is brand new, and you can look forward to an assortment of yummy appetizers, delicious sweet/unsweet tea, and some tasty treats. There will be nice drink specials as well: $4.00 Newcastle/Blue Moon, and $3 well drinks, for those interested in a cocktail or drink at the bar.
As a reminder, attire should be “tropical island chic” meaning:
- Ladies: nice summer evening/ beachy dress, with sandals.
- Guys: khaki pants or shorts with a linen or lightweight button down or polo with casual driving loafers or beach sandals (if that is your thing).
This celebration is going to be a casual, easy-going, drop-by type of party, and we very much look forward to rejoicing as we are sent off to be married in Puerto Rico in early October!
